Do we offer Commissions and/or Collaborations?
As a whole, I am very interested in collaborating with you to make your perfect piece. When you commission me, I reserve the right to refuse any design I am not comfortable with. My goal in collaborating is to create your vision, in my style. Through a series of conversations, we will determine your design goals as well as budget. I offer a selection of glazes, however, I am unable to create new glazes for your piece. If you have specific questions or ideas, please do not hesitate to contact me, I would love to hear them!
Do you offer returns?
All orders are final sale and no returns or exchanges are available. Please read each listing carefully before purchasing and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
How do you price your pottery?
When pricing my pottery, I take into account the material costs, the time it takes to make a piece, as well as local market research. Materials for a 1lb mug can range from $2-5, and can take me up to 2 hours of work from start to finish. The average living wage in New Brunswick is around $22/hr. On the high end, a mug can cost me $49 to create, not including the value of my training and expertise! This simple breakdown is not a cut and dry method for pricing pottery, but you can see how with just materials and time spent making, costs can add up.
