Ciara Myshrall
About the Artist
Ciara Myshrall is a maker of production and sculptural pottery. Living and working in New Brunswick, Canada, Myshrall has shown her work in Saint John, Sackville, and Fredericton, NB. Myshrall completed the Foundation Visual Arts Certificate, Ceramics Diploma, and Advanced Studio Practice Program at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design.
Creating under the name Hex Pottery, Ciara makes production tableware and sculptural pots. In her work, she taps into a life of sensory overload, and uses clay to both heal and self soothe. Within this space, she allows herself to explore spiritual ritualism and its connection to comfort. Never apart from her sensory struggles, she thoughtfully produces each pot with positive intention.
